Out of Kindness, I Ran a Free Childcare Area for Two Years, but I Was Forced to Close It
Zhao Lan, the owner of a convenience store, sets up a free childcare area to help look after the children of dual-income families in her residential community. Instead, Li Fang, a mother in the community, leads other mothers in falsely accusing her and demanding compensation. Zhao Lan is also besieged and boycotted, causing her business to plummet. After the childcare area closes, children in the community begin causing trouble everywhere, and the parents suffer the consequences of their own actions. One by one, they apologize. Li Fang reports Zhao Lan for food safety violations, only to be proven wrong, while her own household suffers a series of setbacks. In the end, Zhao Lan's business recovers, and she is invited to participate in a community public-welfare childcare pilot program. Her kindness finally receives institutional protection.

Mais Li Fang, une mère du voisinage, pousse les autres mères à la calomnier et à réclamer des indemnités, l'accusant à tort d'avoir donné des aliments périmés aux enfants. Zhao Lan est également encerclée et victime d'un boycott, ce qui fait chuter son activité. Après la fermeture de l'espace de garde, les enfants du quartier se mettent à semer le désordre partout. Les parents subissent alors les conséquences de leurs propres actes et viennent présenter leurs excuses les uns après les autres. Li Fang signale Zhao Lan pour de prétendues infractions à la sécurité alimentaire, mais ses accusations se retournent contre elle, tandis que sa propre famille connaît une série de revers. Finalement, l'activité de Zhao Lan reprend et elle est invitée à participer à un projet pilote communautaire de garde d'enfants à vocation sociale. Sa bonne volonté bénéficie enfin d'une protection institutionnelle.
