Step by Step, Deeply Trapped
If the marriage market were a martial world, Han Qing, a specialist in breaking up extramarital affairs, would be its most mysterious heroine. She helps wives defend their rights during marital crises and punish cheating scumbags. She accepts only the agreed-upon payment for each job and strictly maintains boundaries between men and women. After taking on a lucrative assignment, Han Qing disguises herself as Feng Siqian's personal assistant at Huajing Group and follows her plan to seduce him. Unexpectedly, she discovers that she has fallen into a web of lies spun by her client, Yin Yi, Feng Siqian's wife. Meanwhile, old enemies seize the opportunity to close in on her, plunging her into danger. The person who repeatedly comes to her rescue is none other than her supposed 'prey,' Feng Siqian, and she finds herself falling for him. Han Qing, Feng Siqian, and Lin Zongyi become entangled in a complicated love triangle, as everyone sinks deeper into infatuation, disappointment, and conspiracy with every step.
