The live-in son-in-law Niu Dali suffered constant bullying from the Liu family, treated as nothing more than unpaid free labor. Disheartened and fed up, he left the family empty-handed, taking only sixty mu of barren saline-alkali slopes on the back mountain that nobody wanted and two sick cows. Fortunately, guided by retired animal husbandry expert Old Man Zhou, he discovered that the barren slopes concealed mineral-rich pasture grass, allowing him to breed premium snowflake beef cattle. With hard work, diligence, and honest entrepreneurship, he established a cooperative to lead fellow villagers toward prosperity and made a stunning comeback as a provincial model worker. Meanwhile, consumed by jealousy, the Liu family resorted to sabotage and malice, only to end in total ruin and reap the bitter fruit of their actions. Through trials and tribulations, Niu Dali attained immense career success, found true love, spurred rural revitalization, and achieved a glorious triumph.
