The Gu family is framed and exiled to Yazhou. Everyone believes it is a barren wasteland of an island, but the daughter Gu Lingshan is secretly thrilled—this is the southern island she knew in her past life. In that past life, she was a top diver who knew this sea was full of pearls and seafood. The scumbag Prince An Huo Zhou and Liu Xueyan kick her while she is down and break the engagement, but Gu Lingshan does not care in the slightest. Arriving in Yazhou, she uses her diving expertise to harvest pearls and strike it rich, unites the local fishermen into a pearling team, founds the "Qionghai Ji" guild, and develops industries like coconut oil and soap, leading the common folk out of poverty. She crushes the treacherous couple, teams up with the Crown Prince to uncover the truth behind the Gu family's false charges, and ultimately clears her family's name.
