The Chairman Who Sleeps in the Storage Room
Zhang Shoushan spent over 20 years building the trillion-yuan business empire of Yuanshan Group from the ground up, but neglected his family relationships with his children and grandchildren. Hoping to make up for lost time, he disguises himself as a country farmer and goes to the city, only to be shoved into the storage room by his daughter-in-law, who even keeps his dishes and chopsticks separately in a bamboo basket. The only person in the family who doesn't mind his dirty appearance is four-year-old Xiao Bao, who slips the sweetest candy into his palm. To cling to the group their father built, his son drives his own father back to the countryside. With a single phone call, the old man freezes the group's resources, and dozens of senior executives come knocking at his door to bow before him. The house, car, and future they once enjoyed are taken back one by one. The very man they desperately tried to curry favor with was the old man they themselves had driven away.
