Out of kindness, Shen Ke takes in her heartbroken coworker, Qian Xiaoman, who is crying after a breakup, promising that she can stay for just two days. However, Qian Xiaoman takes advantage of her generosity, going from freeloading to secretly changing the door locks, moving her boyfriend in, and even listing Shen Ke's apartment on a short-term rental platform to make money without permission. She also spreads rumors at work to damage Shen Ke's reputation. Having reached her breaking point, Shen Ke refuses to back down any longer. Through a series of lawful measures, including preserving evidence with audio and video recordings, sending a lawyer's letter, filing a police report, and bringing a lawsuit, she gradually fights back.
