Sincere Protection After the Cold War
During a cold war between a married couple, the husband returns home from a business trip and sees that his wife hasn't cooked and has gone straight to her room, yet in his heart he has already decided to stay together and cherish each other. He cooks to ease the tension, the two reconcile, and the husband confesses that relationships are precious because of mutual tolerance. Soon the wife becomes pregnant, and the younger sister asks for medical expenses which the wife refuses. After giving birth to a daughter, the husband feels full of guilt for being unable to properly take care of his mother, feeling he is not a qualified son. The mother-in-law guides them through it, and when the wife delivers food to apologize, she runs into the secretary entangling the husband. The secretary hurls insults, but the husband immediately protects his wife, sternly warns the secretary, and firmly declares that his wife is the true love of his life.

Semasa perang dingin suami isteri, suami pulang dari perjalanan perniagaan dan melihat isterinya tidak memasak lalu terus masuk ke bilik, namun dalam hatinya dia sudah lama membuat keputusan untuk hidup bersama dan saling menghargai. Dia memasak untuk meredakan ketegangan, mereka berdua berdamai, dan suami mengaku bahawa perhubungan itu berharga kerana saling bertolak ansur.
