Modern Michelin three-star chef Shen Nian'an time-travels to an ancient impoverished peasant family, binding with the food system Tuantuan that only she can see. She starts with braised dishes, hand-grabbed cakes, and stinky tofu, opens Nian'an Snack Shop, and successively launches modern foods like fried chicken burgers, snail rice noodles, hot pot, milk tea, and happy fat-house water. After her eldest brother joins the army and becomes a great general, and her eldest sister marries a merchant's son, she uses a branch store as a dowry. Her younger siblings study, and the whole family unites. She gains the magistrate's appreciation, enters the capital to present imperial meals, is appointed as an imperial chef, and Nian'an Tower opens across the country. The entire drama has no romance plot, focusing on making a fortune through food and family warmth. Ultimately, her sister's branch store becomes the local number one, her younger siblings return after completing their studies, and Tuantuan accompanies her forever.
