Lu Chenzhou, an odd-job worker in the Spirit Beast Valley of the Qinglan Sect, accidentally picks up a snow-white beast cub named Nuomi, only to be falsely accused of stealing a sect spirit beast by Qin Yue, a disciple of the Beast Taming Hall. In a moment of crisis, Nuomi forms a symbiotic life-bond contract with Lu Chenzhou, revealing its extraordinary lineage as an ancient guardian beast of all spirits. Joining hands, the two investigate and uncover the dust-laden secrets of the forbidden beast ground, discovering that Han Bo, vice master of the Beast Taming Hall, has been secretly refining beast baleful qi in a bid to harness the Beast Emperor's bloodline and control all beasts. Facing a beast horde crisis sweeping across the sect, Lu Chenzhou fights shoulder to shoulder with Nuomi to awaken the Beast Emperor's power, shatter the conspiracy, abolish the outdated practice of forced beast taming, and co-found the Myriad Spirits Hall to protect countless spirit beasts with trust.
