The More His Hair Sticks Up, the More He Obeys Grandma
Dai Qinglan, a woman in her sixties, is driven out of her home by her son, Dai Jianguo, and daughter-in-law, Ma Guifang. That day, as rain falls, she sits on the steps at the entrance to an alley in an urban village, clutching half a bottle of cold water and believing her life has reached its end. Wang Yichao, a food delivery rider with dyed yellow hair, passes by and offers her a steamed bun for free. "Eat first. When you're done, come with me to find somewhere warm." He takes her back to a rented single-story house shared by six young men with yellow hair.
