Reform the Imperial Court: The Arrival of the Shamate Empress Dowager
Su Zhatian, a modern-day Shamate trendsetter, dies suddenly after staying up all night and unexpectedly transmigrates into the body of the Great Zhou Empress Dowager, who has been poisoned by powerful ministers and lives a timid, miserable life. Facing Chancellor Gu, who monopolizes the government, and the oppressive imperial palace riddled with chaos, she abandons outdated palace rules and relies on her bold, free-spirited personality and modern thinking. She wins over Consort Lin, Concubine Liu, and Lady Zhao, who are trapped in the harem, and forms a sisterhood. Together, they establish workshops to start businesses and generate income, renovate the Cold Palace, and support down-and-out women. Step by step, they help the young emperor escape his puppet status and crush the chancellor's conspiracy to seize power, writing a hilarious and passionate tale of an underdog's rise in the imperial court.
