Pretended to Love Cats for Three Years, Now I Come Clean
Pet mortician Ruan Xing raised a ragdoll cat named Doudou for eight years, treating it as her family. Her boyfriend Chen Yu faked being a "cat-loving good boyfriend" for three years to trick her into marriage. After her future mother-in-law visited—changing cat bowls, dropping disinfectant, forcing doors open and spraying the cat—Chen Yu condoned it the whole time, and even took advantage of her business trip to throw Doudou into an abandoned construction site in the western suburbs. Discovering the truth through surveillance footage, Ruan Xing retrieved the dying cat from the ruins. She showed her cards and broke up, drove away the mother and son, sought compensation and rights protection, and turned her home into a cat paradise. Later, she met Lu Yang, a veterinarian who truly respected her and the cat. Loving cats was fake, but the cat is mine, and showing my cards is real.
