Emergency First Aid on the Village Road
While returning to his hometown for New Year's Day, Chen Chuan comes across a boy named Wang Yuanbao suffering from sudden, severe abdominal pain. After examining him, the town doctor, Lin Xiaowen, discovers that his symptoms are far more serious than ordinary gastroenteritis and suspects acute pancreatitis. He must be taken to the hospital immediately. Chen Chuan offers to drive them there, but as they try to leave the village, Wang Guifen and others block the road with corn. Despite being warned that the child urgently needs medical attention, Wang Guifen refuses to move the obstruction. Taking advantage of Chen Chuan's desperation, she repeatedly raises the compensation demand from 1,000 yuan to 8,000 yuan. Forced to pay, Chen Chuan finally gets through. È necessario portarlo immediatamente in ospedale.
