In the quagmire of a labor camp, Su Mo, a blind boy, was saved from the mud and brought back to the Holy Mountain by Ling Qinghan, the World-Illuminating Saintess. She gifted him a lightning-tribulation wood blind cane, yet could not escape the Supreme Divine Sect's scheme coveting her Nine-Apertures World-Illuminating Holy Bone. In the Guixu Secret Realm, to spare his life, she feigned cruel words and cast him into the Primordial Rift. After thirty thousand years of utter darkness, Su Mo comprehended the Primordial Qi within the abyss, forging new eyes from starry remnants. When the Saintess is about to be sacrificed into the Fortune Bell upon the wedding altar of the Nine Heavens, a white-haired youth leaning on an old cane steps forth, crushing mountain gates. A promise from the past crosses timeless darkness: with a blind mortal body defying immortal kings, and mastery over the Primordial Dao, he arrives for a jest made long ago at the cliff of forgotten love.
