Princess Goes to the Countryside to Seek a Good Match and Encounters a Hidden Foreign Prince
The Great Xia Eldest Princess Li Ruoxia is born with supernatural strength and grows weary of the utilitarian marriage proposals from the nobles of the capital. Concealing her identity, she disguises herself as the pig butcher Li Xiaoxiao to go on blind dates in search of someone true. She meets the tofu seller Zhu Ning, and the two gradually develop feelings for each other, unaware that Zhu Ning is actually the Tianyong Ninth Prince Xiao Ning, living among the common folk. Meng Jue, infatuated with the Eldest Princess and unable to win her heart, causes disruption. The Tianyong delegation tracks down Zhu Ning and sets up a assassination trap under the guise of a political marriage, intending to provoke war between the two nations. Seeing through the conspiracy, Li Ruoxia teams up with Zhu Ning to lay out a strategy, unearth the chancellor's faction colluding with foreign enemies, and foil the assassination plot. In the end, the two distance themselves from court disputes and live a carefree, devoted life together beyond the northern frontier.
