Professor Qi, Let's Get Married - Season 1
Coffee shop owner Wen Zhixian and her childhood friend Gu Yu were preparing for their wedding, but after he treasured an ex-partner's relic and slapped her, her years of unrequited love completely shattered. While feeling disheartened, she ran into Qi Yanjing, a cold and detached prestigious university professor. An impulsive marriage proposal on a rainy night led the two into a flash marriage. Qi Yanjing appeared gentle and restrained, but actually harbored trauma left from a childhood kidnapping, while Wen Zhixian struggled in the shadows of her previous relationship. Gu Yu came to his senses and continued to pester her, and Qi Yanjing's ex-partner Shen Zhi as well as his muse Li Zhaomu successively stirred up trouble. The two joined hands to deal with the disturbances, healing each other mutually. Their hidden wealthy family backgrounds and past pains came to light one after another, slowly turning a marriage borrowed from a momentary impulse into a true, devoted love entrusted to one another.
