Returned overseas boss Liang Yunfan returns to his hometown to fund the construction of a bridge. Villager Zhang Dahua intentionally lies down in the construction pit to extort three hundred thousand in compensation. Liang Yunfan is unwilling to compromise, preferring to spend an additional four hundred thousand to change the bridge route. A rainstorm strikes, turning the Zhang family's house into a muddy pond. At her son's wedding, the bride sinks into the mud, and the marriage is directly called off. Zhang Dahua flies into a rage, vandalizing the bridge, breaking the law, and ending up in prison. Liang Yunfan sets up the originally prepared compensation money as a bridge fund, leading the whole village to common prosperity.
