Qingshan: A Young Man's Path to Wealth
In Qingshan Village in the 1990s, Lin Xiaoman, who grew up relying on the kindness of villagers for his meals, makes a living running a small repair shed. He is repeatedly harassed by the local village bully, and everyone laughs that he will never amount to anything. No one knows that he is the eldest grandson of an industrialist family. Because his father is a spoiled wastrel, his grandfather devised a tempering plan and sent him to the countryside at the age of five to toughen his character. The old steward, Wang Zhong, concealed his identity and secretly protected him for seventeen years. From a dispute at the oil depot during the summer harvest to a crisis at the quarry in the back hills, Xiaoman uses his own abilities to resolve one problem after another. When his true identity is finally revealed, he does not return to the city to enjoy his inheritance. Instead, he chooses to put down roots in the countryside, build an agricultural machinery factory, and lead the entire village on the road to prosperity.
