Qingyun: Returning Home
Li Shen lived under an assumed name for twenty years, starting from seven yuan and sixty cents to single-handedly build the hundreds-of-billions Qingyun Group. Returning home to visit the graves, dressed in a blue cloth shirt and carrying a snakeskin bag, he was chased away to a leaking old house by his in-laws. His eldest son thought he was a disgrace and publicly called him a 'distant relative'. He neither argued nor debated, only waiting for his son to withstand the encirclement, frame-ups, and swaps with true ability. Wang Qiang, a rival exposed by him twenty years ago, made a comeback. At a briefing, more than twenty senior executives shouted 'Chairman' in unison. Identities revealed, the family business returned to its rightful place. After retirement, he opened the Shen Ji Noodle Restaurant on the old street, charging twelve yuan a bowl—ten thousand strings of family wealth are not as good as a table of reunion.
