She almost died along the way and has vanished without a trace ever since. Five years later, Que Chenyan bought a guesthouse opposite her teahouse. Every day he orders a pot of Lao Man'e tea, sits opposite the tea table, guarding the distance of a cup of bitter tea. She calls him 'sir', polite and distant, as if nothing had ever happened. He dares not explain, dares not approach. The notorious 'Master Que' in the underworld is left with only one sentence in front of her: I just want to confirm whether she is living well or not.
