When the Rose Is Reborn: Su Mei's Awakening
Su Mei stood by Gu Chengze through the three most difficult years of the Gu Group, yet she was never truly considered part of the Gu family. When a major project in the east of the city suffered enormous losses, the Gu family shifted all the blame onto her to protect its stock price, forcing her to leave with nothing. Hounded by rumors, she started from scratch, made a name for herself with a spectacular victory, and founded MeiTu Public Relations. When Gu Chengze's mother joined forces with business partners to pressure her, Su Mei chose not to seek revenge. Instead, she used her outstanding performance to snatch away the Gu family's most important projects. MeiTu went public and rose to the top of the industry, while the Gu Group lost its connections and became consumed by internal strife. Gu Chengze was stripped of his power and removed from his position. Even when his mother came begging for help, Su Mei calmly turned her down. From industry summits to the stock exchange bell, she earned the title of Business Leader of the Year, expanded overseas, and supported aspiring entrepreneurs, finally breaking free from the label of Mrs. Gu. Above the thorns, the rose will always bloom again.
