When the Mountain Spring Awakens: Qinghe and Tuanrong
Qingxi Village has suffered a prolonged drought, and its old well is nearly dry. Qinghe, a young apprentice in herbal medicine, goes up the mountain to gather medicinal herbs and encounters Tuanrong, a little spirit born from the heart of the forest. Tuanrong explains that the mountain spring has fallen asleep and needs three sincere gifts to awaken it: morning dew, birdsong, and children's laughter. Together, Qinghe and Tuanrong protect the spring forest, repair waterways, withstand torrential rain, and plant Qingxi trees. They lead the villagers in forming a forest protection team, eventually restoring the mountain spring's steady flow and bringing the village back to life. The story reminds us that humanity and nature are not meant to conquer one another, but to care for each other.

Qinghe, un apprendista di erboristeria, sale sulla montagna alla ricerca di piante medicinali e incontra per caso Tuanrong, un piccolo spirito nato dal cuore della foresta. Tuanrong spiega che la sorgente della montagna si è addormentata e che per risvegliarla servono tre doni sinceri: la rugiada del mattino, il canto degli uccelli e le risate dei bambini. Qinghe e Tuanrong proteggono la foresta che alimenta la sorgente, riparano i canali d'acqua, affrontano piogge torrenziali e piantano alberi Qingxi. Guidano inoltre gli abitanti del villaggio nella creazione di una squadra di protezione forestale. Alla fine, la sorgente torna a scorrere senza sosta e il villaggio rifiorisce. La storia insegna che gli esseri umani e la natura non devono cercare di sconfiggersi a vicenda, ma prendersi cura l'uno dell'altra.
