Those Years I Was Fired by a Wealthy Club
Du Luoze, a decorated football coach, spent ten years building the unknown Chuanfeng team into a wealthy powerhouse. Yet Zhang, a senior executive representing the investors, and Zhou Chuanhe discarded him once he was no longer useful, firing him with only a 3,000-yuan base salary. Disheartened, Du Luoze takes over Xinghuo, an underdog team that has languished at the bottom of the rankings for years, and starts from scratch, refining tactics and training the players. Chuanfeng relies on high-profile naturalized players to maintain its image, but Xinghuo thrashes it in their first encounter. Enraged, Chuanfeng spreads doping rumors, only to be humiliated by an immediate urine test and hit with severe league penalties. Zhang and Zhou then launch malicious reports, poach players with exorbitant offers, and even arrange to have drugs slipped to the team before a match. Du Luoze counters every scheme with evidence and turns the tables by holding them accountable.
