That Lamp Later Shone Only for Me
Lin Jianxia brings a sample garment she made with her own hands to a partnership meeting, only to discover that her husband, Xu Chengzhou, has agreed to remove her design credit. After years of building their business together, she is told for the first time that she has already withdrawn. Following an old piece of sample fabric, she finds the original design and the person who remembers every modification she ever made. The business partner never asked her to leave. What truly hurt her was that her husband knew who the work belonged to yet still made the decision on her behalf. She demands that the credit be corrected, that the original be preserved, and that their marriage be dealt with separately. The old desk lamp finally lights up. She continues creating her own work, but no longer waits by the door for anyone.
