Who Let This Mortal Become the Sect's Old Ancestor?
Lin Fan, an ordinary mortal, unexpectedly transmigrates into a world of cultivation. Through a series of coincidences, everyone in the Qingyun Sect mistakes him for the legendary "Qingyun Sacred Ancestor" who has emerged from seclusion. But he possesses neither heaven-defying cultivation nor any knowledge of cultivation techniques. All he wants is to keep a low profile, stay alive, and earn enough to get by. Unfortunately, the sect elders, powerful members of the Demon Clan, and Dao Lords from the upper realms interpret every offhand remark and ordinary mortal action of his as evidence of the Sacred Ancestor's unfathomably profound schemes. The more Lin Fan tries to explain, the bigger the misunderstanding becomes; the more he tries to avoid trouble, the more he is pushed into the position of humanity's last hope. From accidentally killing a demonic spy and inadvertently activating magical treasures in secret realms to being mistaken by powerful beings from the upper realms for the Myriad Laws Dao Lord.
