This Mantou Does Not Burn the Heart
An old-established handmade coarse-grain mantou shop always maintains a loyal customer base with genuine ingredients and solid texture. After a competitor focusing on low prices opened, the old shop's customer source plummeted, and business gradually became desolate. Facing the predicament, the protagonist would rather reduce volume and face unsellability than lower the quality, refusing to follow the trend of price wars. She turned to shift to the East Gate morning market to develop new customer sources, starting from setting up a stall for retail customers, slowly building up word-of-mouth with the solid original taste of coarse grains. Ultimately, from community repurchasing to corporate fixed orders and supermarket entry, she finally guarded the artisan spirit.
