A spring rain brings an ancient, dilapidated bridge back into focus, stirring up long-buried memories. Due to past events involving her father years ago, an umbrella shopkeeper has always harbored reservations about repairing the bridge. However, during an inspection of timber, she uncovers hidden structural dangers. To ensure the safety of the passing common folk, she teams up with an old acquaintance skilled in bridge carpentry to examine the timber, dig through old archives, and track down forgotten artifacts, gradually uncovering the truth behind the bridge rescue of the past. As misunderstandings dissolve, she comes to truly understand the craftsmanship and responsibility left behind by her father, courageously taking up the mantle of the inherited craft.
