Beijing circle young master Shen Xiuqi insists on following his girlfriend Lanyin back to her rural hometown for the Chinese New Year. Navigating winding mountain roads all the way, he mistakenly believes Lanyin is going to sell him, panicking along the journey and hiding in a dry pit latrine in the middle of the night to ask his friends for help. When friends Xiezhuo and Qifang rush over, they are also successively roped in by Lanyin, forced to experience farm work and help prepare the pig-slaughtering feast. Amid constant panic and apprehension throughout, the three create countless comedic moments. Through day-and-night companionship, Shen Xiuqi uses his actions to touch Lanyin's father. Under the New Year's Eve fireworks, the two honestly express their feelings, crossing the family background gap to promise to return to the countryside together year after year, hiding tender affection in a hilarious homecoming journey of mutual devotion.

Le jeune maître du cercle de Pékin, Shen Xiuqi, s'obstine à suivre sa petite amie Lanyin dans son village natal rural pour le Nouvel An. Tout au long des routes de montagne sinueuses, il se méprend en pensant que Lanyin veut le vendre, paniquant pendant tout le trajet et se cachant au milieu de la nuit dans des toilettes sèches pour appeler ses amis à l'aide. Lorsque ses amis Xiezhuo et Qifang arrivent, ils se font également piéger l'un après l'autre par Lanyin, contraints de faire l'expérience des travaux agricoles et d'aider à préparer le festin de l'abattage du cochon. Les trois hommes vivent une frousse constante et déclenchent d'innombrables situations comiques. Au fil de leur cohabitation, Shen Xiuqi utilise ses actions pour toucher le père de Lanyin.
