Five years ago, Su Li was separated from Fu Jiuchen after a night of passion. She later gave birth to a frail boy. Cornered by despair and illness, Su Li pawned her token jade pendant, unaware that Jiang Ting would use that pendant and her own son to impersonate her and move into the young marshal's residence. To find her child and the truth, Su Li entered the marshal's mansion as a servant. Being around her once again, Fu Jiuchen finds himself irresistibly drawn to Su Li, never suspecting that the woman before his eyes is the true mother of his son.
