Rebirth 1978: From Barefoot Doctor to National Medical Sage
In 1978, modern renowned doctor Li Xiangnan time-traveled to become a barefoot doctor in Hongshan County. He had a fake marriage with educated youth Lin Chuqiao for five years. On the day of the college entrance exam, she publicly proposed divorce, and he only replied "I agree" before walking into the exam room. Handing in his paper in forty minutes and getting every subject completely right, he relied on his ability to get admitted into Yanjing, entered the machine repair plant hospital, and deliberately chose the most exhausting emergency department. Luo Dali misdiagnosed a case requiring surgery; with a single sentence of "so outrageously wrong," he saved a worker's life with three preserved eggs. Intending to fulfill the agreement to divorce after a few months, the hospital president's appreciation, the factory leaders' high regard, and the Lin family's transformation came one after another. And Lin Chuqiao, who first proposed the divorce, began to panic. Can this marriage still be divorced?
