Zhao Hongmei is reborn back to 1988, opening her eyes to a mess where the cook raises prices on the spot at her in-laws' full-month banquet, and the whole family is cornered against the wall. Burdened with the dirty name of 'bringing bad luck to husband and family' in her past life, this lifetime she picks up a kitchen knife to establish her authority in public, using a pot of braised pork intestines to make the whole village lick their plates clean, and making a name for herself by the national highway with a braised food stall. From being cursed by her mother-in-law as a 'spendthrift woman' to digging out coffin savings to support her taking over a shop, and from her husband Qin Gang tying an apron to be a waiter to the couple joining hands to buy a restaurant in town, she stews a messy life into a prosperous and fiery existence!
