Red Tide: Age of Embers
In 2049, the Red Tide Virus erupted worldwide, infecting more than 70% of humanity. Within 72 hours, infected individuals lose their sanity and become highly aggressive creatures known as the Red-Turned. The virus spreads through bodily fluids and aerosols. Meanwhile, Earth's climate enters a period of extreme fluctuations, with prolonged heatwaves exceeding 40°C alternating with freezing blizzards plunging below -30°C. Crops fail completely, and urban water, electricity, communications, and transportation systems collapse entirely. Modern civilization crumbles within just six months. With no system or supernatural abilities, this story follows a purely hardcore survival path, where every resource must be fought for with one's own hands and human nature is repeatedly tested and torn apart in desperate circumstances.
