Twenty-four-year-old Shu Shu dies unexpectedly and is reborn back to the year her son, Shu Lingchen, turns eighteen. The son before her has turned into a rebellious punk, trapped in a scheme, while a prophecy in her dream reveals that her twin daughter's fate is also fraught with hardships. Breaking from the past, Shu Shu soberly turns the tide: she tears off the Chu mother and daughter's mask of coveting property and wealth, helping her son break free from the quagmire of psychological manipulation. Facing her son's love-struck, underachieving ways, she avoids harsh preaching and instead uses companionship and guidance to help the youth shed his hostility and turn back from the wrong path. By a twist of fate, Shu Shu meets the introverted, sensitive Pei Muyin and step by step confirms that this is her long-lost daughter.
