Ship researcher Shen Zhugang received an offer letter from the Dafu, and accidentally traveled through time to the Daxia Dynasty. After falling into the sea, he and forty-seven surviving crew members drifted to a desolate and barren island. Half of them were injured and all supplies were lost, and upon landing they encountered poisonous-arrow mountain bandits. Relying on tools and modern knowledge, Shen Zhugang built a camp on the cliff and developed black powder to repel three hundred routed soldiers. Who would have known that the opposing party was the remnants of the Yingzhou Chiyan domain, and more than a thousand regular troops were about to invade. He salvaged bronze materials from the shipwreck to cast bronze cannons, and after receiving a letter of surrender persuasion, the entire crew launched a night raid on the enemy camp to burn their food and supplies, surviving a desperate situation.
