Worth 100 Billion, He Returns to the Village, and the Whole Village Regrets It Bitterly
Li Yi comes from a poor family. Back then, his father spent all their savings to help his destitute childhood friend, Zhao Haisheng. But after Zhao became wealthy, he turned his back on them, joined forces with the villagers to look down on the Li family, and even allowed his former girlfriend's family, the Suns, to break off the engagement and humiliate them. When Zhao returns to his hometown and throws a banquet, he deliberately humiliates the very people who once saved him. Li Yi publicly exposes everyone's heartless behavior. As village officials and wealthy businessmen continue setting traps and making things difficult for him, Li Yi stays true to himself, gathers evidence of their illegal activities, and strikes back one by one. Seizing an opportunity, he builds a resort and runs it honestly, refusing to get involved in shady businesses. In the end, the villains suffer the consequences of their own actions, while Li Yi finds his perfect partner and achieves happiness in both his career and family life.
