Reborn Return, The Chess Game Begins
A legitimate daughter is reborn, returning with half a broken piece of jade. What was owed to her in her past life, she takes back this time with interest. In this life, she is no longer the weak, legitimate daughter bullied by anyone. She hides her sharpness, bides her time for seven years, makes her name known across the capital through her poetic talent, secretly investigates her mother's death, and even forms a bond with the mysterious eldest legitimate grandson of the Lu family, Lu Shiyan, over half a piece of jade. Liu Huirao's methods are naive, and Su Mingshu is arrogant and foolish; in her eyes, they are nothing more than clownish fools. But the deeper she investigates, the more she discovers that behind her mother's death lies a web far deeper than the inner courtyards—from concubine to minister, from the marquis's mansion to the imperial court, the one who caused her death in her past life was never just a single Liu Huirao.
