Rebirth: I Become a Hunter in the Seventies
At seventy-three, Han Dashan closed his eyes clutching his late wife's red headscarf. On the night of the flash flood in his previous life, he failed to return in time, and his pregnant wife waited for him until her dying breath. Opening his eyes once more, he returns to the age of twenty, using his hunting skills to protect the distressed educated youth Xu Manyu and bringing her into his home, trading animal skins for medicine to treat her. With the flash flood approaching, no one in the village believes his early warning. He builds stone houses, hoards grain, protects canals, and eliminates hazards, pulling the entire village back from beneath the water. Unable to save a single person in his past life, in this lifetime he wants every single person in the village to be safe.
