Lu Xiaoxian wakes up to find himself transmigrated into a conscious scroll of True Immortal Seal. To hide from the investigation of Sect Master Xuan He, he transforms and sneaks into Beichen Academy, acting as a mediocre disciple by day to conceal his talents, while crazily cultivating at night using the original source of the Immortal Seal. Song Wujiu picks up a fake immortal seal and his power surges, only to find himself turning into the spiritual power vessel of Lady Xingmo. The two join forces with the straightforward Su Xiaotang, searching every forbidden ruin and uncovering the conspiracy of Xuan He using Lady Xingmo to break through only to be exploited in return. On the day the forbidden area opens, the three combine forces to rewrite the seal and suppress Lady Xingmo. Lu Xiaoxian is granted the status of an inner disciple, but still willingly acts as an ordinary disciple: keeping a low profile is the safest way to cultivate immortality.

Pour échapper aux recherches du maître de secte Xuan He, il prend forme humaine et s'infiltre à l'Académie Beichen, se faisant passer pour un disciple médiocre le jour pour dissimuler ses talents, tout en cultivant frénétiquement la nuit grâce à la source originelle du Sceau Immortel. Song Wujiu ramasse un faux sceau immortel et sa puissance monte en flèche, mais il réalise qu'il est en train de devenir le réceptacle d'énergie spirituelle de Dame Xingmo. Les deux s'allient à la franche Su Xiaotang, fouillent les ruines interdites et mettent au jour le complot de Xuan He, qui a utilisé Xingmo pour progresser avant d'être manipulé à son tour. Le jour où la zone interdite s'ouvre, tous trois unissent leurs forces pour réécrire le sceau et réprimer Xingmo.
