Luo Lingchen, the heir of the Prince of Zhennan, has his meridians destroyed by men in black and falls into the mud. Concealing his identity under the name Luo Chen, he guards a broken sword and runs a tavern in Qingshi Town. Four years later, dark currents stir again across the jianghu as the Youyue Pavilion resurfaces, and the Meridian-Severing Cold Needles uncover an old conspiracy. Luo Chen travels alongside Xiao Ce of the Thunderbolt Hall, Su Muxue of the Tianji Sect, and Nangong Wan of the Biluo Manor to uncover the truth, brave perils, and venture to the Ice and Fire Island. Though the blade is shattered, his chivalrous heart endures; the young hero returns, not to turn into a demon for vengeance, but to uphold justice in the mortal realm.
