Xie Duoyu, the top prodigy of the mystic arts, originally intended to lie in her coffin for five full years to transcend her tribulation and ascend to immortality. Who would have thought that three years into her death, her unlucky younger brother would dig up her grave begging for help! Dragging her skeleton frame back to the Marquis Household, she discovers that the endless disasters befalling her family were actually caused by her eldest uncle's household raising evil spirits to siphon their fortune. To protect her path to immortality, she captures ghosts, breaks evil formations, expels vicious relatives, sets her foolishly filial father straight, and shields her timid mother. Nobody listened to her while she was alive? Then she'll crawl right out of her coffin and reason with them all over again!
