Top university graduate Su Cang gave up a high-paying job to return to his village, start a business, and repay the community. Upon arrival, he faced the ridicule of the whole village and undermining from his younger brother, who mocked him for studying until he lost his wits. Emptying his savings, he leased the village's idle old houses to build a seaview homestay, only to hit rock bottom when funds dried up, orders hit zero, and everyone abandoned him. Turning the tide through online marketing, he met designer Zhan Yanyan. Together, they upgraded traditional rattan weaving, held live streams to help farmers, and launched study tours. Countering hostile suppression from competitors and warding off disruptions by outside capital, Su Cang led the village toward prosperity while he and Yanyan found mutual love pursuing their shared dreams—a heartwarming comeback story of rural revitalization.
