Returning to the Miao Village, Competing with Cousin for Inheritance (43 episodes)

A young man returns to a Miao village in western Hunan with his Miao girlfriend, Sui Sui. By chance, he receives the inheritance of the Miao Concentric Love Gu from her grandmother. Consequently, he is swept into the fierce rivalry between Sui Sui and her cousin, Yue Niang, over the village's sacred Concentric Love Gu. In truth, the grandmother knows the Love Gu is merely a Miao legend—how could genuine true love ever be governed by a mere bug? This legend is simply a cherished hope held by Miao women for everlasting love. The grandmother only wishes to keep her two granddaughters, the kind-hearted Sui Sui and the selfish Yue Niang, from tearing each other apart.
