Reforge Splendor
In her previous life, Su Qingyuan, a structural engineer, was deceived by her manipulative boyfriend, Shen Haoyu, into signing a 50,000-yuan IOU. Her birth family constantly drained her finances, demanding that she buy a house for her younger brother. When she was hospitalized after slashing her wrists, her boyfriend had switched off his phone, and there was no one to take her to the hospital. When she opened her eyes again, she had been reborn in 2012, when prefabricated construction was just beginning to emerge. This time, she neither argues nor makes a scene. Instead, she approaches every battle like a structural drawing review: reporting crimes to the police, recording conversations, checking bank statements transaction by transaction, playing her scumbag boyfriend's insulting recordings in public, and petitioning the court to legally sever ties with her birth family. Her cantilevered structural design earns her a special recruitment offer from an architectural design institute. She then joins forces with Lu Yanzhou, an entrepreneur whose former business partner had run off with all his funds.
