Protection Cashback: Taking Edgy Girls into the Food Business
After losing his job and getting dumped, Gu Qianfan sits at a crossroads in an urban village, where Huo Caihong, the rainbow-haired leader of a street girl gang, takes him back to her shared apartment. After activating the Protection Cashback System, he learns to bargain, argue, and stand up for others amid the hustle and bustle of everyday life. He helps Tiantian recover her unpaid wages, rescues Xiaolu, and protects the night-market stalls. He humiliates his ex-girlfriend and a rich second-generation heir, turns a malatang stall into a proper restaurant, and discovers Caihong's true family background, only to see her reject her wealthy family's attempt to reclaim her. On the night the old buildings are demolished, the system's cashback helps them gather enough for a down payment, and the whole family moves into a bigger home. Gu Qianfan transforms from someone who needed protection into someone who protects others.
