Rebirth: The Shen Family Seal Keeper
Shen Tang, the proprietor of the Qianli Marriage Pavilion, was betrayed by her fiancé Zhou Yunji in her past life and presented to Grand Princess Xiao Mingzhu. She managed the dark grain route for four years, and was ended with broken legs and sewn lips with lingering resentment while investigating the old case of the Shen family. Reborn on the eve of the betrothal presentation, she joins hands with the new top scholar Pei Yan. By overturning a carriage and exposing imperial items, she tears open the dark curtain of intercepting military pay and framing loyal officials, ferreting out Cao Jin and the behind-the-scenes imperial power. She finally clears the Shen family's twenty-year grievance, forces the emperor to issue an edict of self-blame, brings the wicked to justice, reissues military pay, and has household registrations returned. Together with Pei Yan as family, she rebuilds the Marriage Pavilion.
