Reborn in the 1980s: Starting a Fortune by Heading into the Mountains
A blizzard sends Zhou Mingqiang, who has spent half his life working tirelessly, back to the 1980s with a lifetime of regrets. Faced with his wife and daughter being mistreated and looked down upon, he finally realizes that protecting his own little family takes courage, too. Starting from a dilapidated earthen house that lets in the wind, he draws on his mountain knowledge and hardworking hands to gather wild produce and find buyers. By earning people's trust through honesty, he ensures his wife and daughter have enough to eat and warm clothes to wear, while restoring his daughter's hope of returning to school. As life gradually improves, he does not forget to donate grain when a heavy snowstorm cuts off the village, nor does he abandon fair trade when establishing a collection point for mountain specialties. He helps the villagers increase their incomes together. Supporting one another through the snow and wind, the family finds hope even in the hardest times.
