Reborn in 1991: I Turned My Life Around by Collecting Scrap
Zheng Changhe was a gambling addict who squandered his family's fortune. In his previous life, he stole every penny his wife, Han Qiaozhen, had earned through years of hard work. He eventually drowned in debt and froze to death beneath a bridge. Reborn, he returns to the crucial day when he made his biggest mistake. This time, he openly admits his wrongdoings and vows to quit gambling, determined to make things right with his family and rebuild their livelihood. Starting with nothing and facing the scorn of his neighbors, he abandons unrealistic dreams and relies on his keen eye to build a business trading secondhand goods and surplus stock. Together with his partners, he starts from scratch. As he repeatedly fights back against malicious attempts by business rivals to crush him, he stays true to his principles, unites local merchants and neighbors, and protects his family and their livelihood. From a down-and-out wastrel, he steadily rises to become one of the town's ten-thousand-yuan households, setting a new goal of building a hundred-thousand-yuan fortune and embarking on an entirely new journey in life.
