Li Zhiwei is an ordinary office worker. For three years, while caring for his pregnant wife, he often bought fruit at a town fruit shop, only to accidentally discover he was being targeted as a regular and ripped off for a long time. Unscrupulous owner Liang Jianhui and his wife Deng Meilian joined forces to set up a series of tricks: charging regulars different prices for the same fruit, cheating on weights with rigged scales, forcing buyers to take extra weight, and maliciously creating trouble to cut off competitors' supplies and file complaints against rivals. However, Li Zhiwei had quietly gathered evidence to protect his rights. He not only legally reported the unethical shop so it was investigated, but also supported the honest mother-and-son shop across the street, building a trustworthy, transparently priced fruit warehouse.
