Return to the 1990s: I Revive Glory Through Manufacturing
Reborn and sent back to the 1990s, Lin Yuan takes over a township machinery factory on the brink of bankruptcy. Just after securing a crucial overseas order, his father-in-law-to-be, Zhao Dashan, an eighth-grade fitter, joins forces with a competitor and leads the factory's technical veterans in a power grab. His fiancée also breaks off their engagement on the spot. Lin Yuan decisively fires them all, reorganizes the production processes into standardized assembly lines, and uses piece-rate wages to unlock the apprentices' potential. After repeatedly thwarting his rival's schemes, he acquires the rival's factory buildings and independently develops CNC machine tools to break through foreign technological barriers. Working alongside foreign trade representative Su Xue, he gradually builds a nationally owned heavy-industry group renowned around the world.
