Lao Yang, a senior angler guarding a prime fishing spot for half a month, has it ruthlessly usurped early in the morning by a strange girl named Su Wan. Full of resentment, he goes to confront her, convinced she is just a trend-following amateur. But the whole process is full of twists: the seemingly frail Su Wan crushes everyone with her fishing skills, steadily reeling in big catches and deeply understanding the water and fish conditions, fiercely slapping the face of the stubborn Lao Yang. A catch competition between anglers layer by layer uncovers her hidden past of lingering by the river bend and guarding the spot, gentle yet healing, full of twists.
